When cancelling a request, it is important to be aware of the different situations that may arise. For instance, if the customer cancels the order before it is shipped, the procedure may vary depending on the payment method used. If Apple Pay, mada, or a credit card was used, the order will be cancelled directly, and Basket, the electronic payment service provider, will return the amount to the customer’s account within 14 working days. However, if Tappy or Tamara was used, the order will also be cancelled directly, and the payment amount will be returned to the customer’s account, along with the cancellation of any upcoming payments. If payment was made via bank transfer, the order will be cancelled directly, and the customer must contact the customer service team to provide bank data for the FURSA (ABU LABAN STORES) to return the amount within 72 hours. If payment was made on receipt, the order will simply be cancelled directly.

In the event that the customer cancels the order after it has been shipped, there are also specific actions taken depending on the payment method used. For instance, in the case of Apple Pay, mada, or credit card, the customer should not receive the order on arrival. FURSA (ABU LABAN STORES) will then request a return of the amount through Basket, and transfer the amount to the customer’s account while deducting 20 riyals for shipping costs. If using Tabby or Tamara, the customer should also not receive the order on arrival, and the amount will be returned, with 20 riyals deducted for shipping costs. Similarly, in the case of bank transfers, the customer should not receive the order, and can contact customer service for the FURSA (ABU LABAN STORES) to transfer the amount to the customer’s account, while also deducting 20 riyals for shipping costs.

It is important to note that the amount will be returned only after the shipping company returns the orders to the FURSA (ABU LABAN STORES) store and confirms receipt. Additionally, if the customer receives the order, the request to cancel it becomes null, and the FURSA (ABU LABAN STORES) store will not transfer the amount. In such an instance, the customer can still request a refund.
